About Me

Hello, I’m Eric S.P. Ng. Born in Hong Kong in 1963, I spent my formative years studying in Scotland, U.K., at St Aloysius’ College. I later graduated from the University of Dundee and University of London Heythrop College with degrees in Mathematics, Philosophy, and Theology. My professional journey spans nearly three-and-a-half decades in university administration and management across institutions in Hong Kong and the U.K., including University College London, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The University of Hong Kong, and Imperial College London. I also spent a brief period at the University Grants Committee Secretariat, where I was involved in preparing the Sutherland Report.

Until recently, I served as Vice-President (Administration) and University Secretary at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

At present, I am pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Coaching at Henley Business School, University of Reading. This training enhances my ability to provide personalized mentoring and coaching services in areas such as university governance, leadership development, strategic planning, and crisis management.
